Where are you as a dad?

Pick your stage. Your term length follows your youngest child, so coverage lasts until they're out on their own.

Is your work policy enough?

Most work life insurance pays 1–2 years of salary. Plug in your numbers to see what your family would actually need.

Why dads come to me

The work policy gap

1–2 yrs
of salary is what most work policies pay
18+ yrs
is how long your kids count on your income
  • Your employer owns that policy. Change jobs or get laid off and it usually stays behind.
  • A term policy you own goes with you wherever you work.

Cover the kids too

Many term policies let you add a child rider: one small monthly add-on that covers all your kids.

  • On many carriers, your kids can later turn it into their own permanent policy without a medical exam.
  • That locks in their ability to get coverage, even if their health changes as adults.
  • Rider amounts and rules vary by carrier. I'll show you exactly what yours includes.

Common questions

What dads ask me most

Isn't my work life insurance enough?

For most families, no. Work policies usually pay 1–2 times your salary, and they belong to your employer. If your family needs your income for the next 15–20 years, a policy you own fills that gap and stays with you if you change jobs.

How much does term life cost?

Less than most people guess. Price depends on your age, health, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length. The fastest way to know is a quick quote, and the price is locked for the whole term once you're approved.

Why term instead of whole life?

Term covers the years your family depends on your paycheck, at the lowest cost per dollar of coverage. If you also want lifelong coverage or cash value, I'll explain those options honestly and you decide.

Do I need a medical exam?

Many applicants can get approved without one. Some carriers ask health questions online or by phone instead. Not everyone qualifies for no-exam coverage, and I'll tell you up front which route fits you.

I'm young and healthy. Can't I wait?

You can, but your price goes up with each birthday, and a change in your health can raise it more or limit your options. Locking in now means today's rate for the whole term.

Can my wife get covered too?

Yes. If she handles childcare or the household, replacing that would cost real money. Many families cover both parents, and I can quote both at once.
